San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful, very touristy colonial town and hour northwest of Queretaro. We were very excited to see the town and started by eating.

Anna had "tunas," cactus fruit.

I had a torta with apple soda.

Anna wanted a close up of the tuna with all the fruit in the background.

We went to mass with the Catholics.

This was their nice church.

This is Allende on the left and Hidalgo on the right. Mexico heroes.

A view of the impressive main church in San Miguel. More of this later.

Are "tunas" slimy?
